Archie's is a sub style sandwich shop dreamed up and established right here in Bentonville, Arkansas. We aspire to create the best sammies around and to have some fun while doing it. Our menu will always strive to balance healthy choices with affordability. Saunter in to find masterfully stacked sammies, excellent customer service and ingredients that are chopped, sliced and slain in-house. Archie’s has a fast casual service model, so you can swing by in a pinch or camp out on the stoop. We’ll never be boring, but we’ll always be reliable. Come join us for a bite!
Sandwiches are one of the most versatile foods. Whether you’re on the go or excersizing your squatters rights on our stoop, you’ll fit right in. We’re a great spot to have a quick bite by yourself at the bar or to meet your friends outside with a bucket of beers. We’re sure happy to be located right where we are, and at this time with you, in this outdoorsy spot we get to call home. We believe food and beverage is an important part of shaping our cultural landscape and we are so thankful for the community that helps us thrive. We hope we can help you thrive just a bit, too.
But Who is archie?
As a pup, Archer was abandoned. Luckily, it didn’t seem too long before he was picked up by a good samaritan and found his way to his home with Kevin, where he's become one of the best counter surfers there ever was. He's our namesake, our mascot, and the biggest fan of our subs. Does he have any idea that there's an entire Sandwichery named after him? Not a clue, but he sure does reap the benefits.
His name is Archer, but when he's a good pup we call him “Archie."
Archie’s Sandwichery is as unabashed as Archie. We are open on either end of what most deem “sandwich” time. We start in the am for coffee service, and end in the pm after cocktails. We carry a contemporary vibe with some retro flavor. We pay homage to the sandwich styles you love, but always with a little extra.
Kevin started his restaurant career as a teenager in Austin, Texas, carb loading at multiple sub shops before deciding to try his stint in the bicycle industry. After many years, bikes serendipitously returned him to the restaurant business, where he found himself helping open and operate concepts with deep cycling roots. Those opportunities ultimately facilitated his relocation to Bentonville where it was immediately obvious that Northwest Arkansas was a community focused on opportunity and quality, but one underserved by a good sandwich. After years of working with Michelin level chefs, Kevin was ready to step into his own, and within a short while Archie’s had materialized. Archie’s first guests we’re served upon the 13th of June in 2025, the year of our sammie. And as they say, the rest was history.

Owners Archer and Kevin Girkins the day the lease was signed at 280 North Walton Blvd.
